Our Story

Canned Heat Dance Company is an adult only dance company located in Victoria, B.C. It was founded in June of 2023 by Genevieve Rogge who has danced and taught in Victoria all her life in a variety of styles such as ballet, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, heels, and hip hop. Genevieve founded Canned Heat with the intention of sharing her passion for dance and choreography. 

Canned Heat provides a safe and supportive environment for growth not only as dancers but as individuals using dance to build confidence, promote self-love, build friendships, and foster a sense of community. Everyone is welcome here!
